Title: Marketing Manager
Reports to: Senior Director, Marketing
Location: The position is required to have on-site presence in Hackensack, N.J.

Our client manufactures fragrance for a wide range of large customers from top CPG brands to fine fragrance and cosmetics. 

Summary:
Looking for a creative, self-starter, data-driven Marketing Manager to work in tandem with the Creative Manager and an outside communications agency to support the company’s growth strategies. In this role, the Marketing 
Manager will build client presentations, digital communications including websites / social platforms and support trade shows. This position is a key member of a small marketing team that will lead the organization to its next chapter of 
growth. 

Responsibilities: 
o Provide creative content and marketing concepts to support the sale of products to customers.
o Proactively initiate the marketing calendar - driving deadlines, timetable and milestone adherence.
o Liasson with sales and product development to enhance project briefs and marketing deliverables.
o Research product trends to create and deliver presentations for customers.
o Conduct competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities for differentiation.
o Lead company’s understanding of emerging tools in marketing, digital communications and social media.
o Help maintain a strong digital presence, including listings, keywords, images, ad copy and organic search.
o Assist with the maintenance of website including content and digital strategy and updates. 
o Monitor the performance of marketing campaigns, providing recommendations for improvement.
o Monitor, track and issues information on competitive launches on scheduled basis.
o Maintains database of presentations, product marketing for future use.
o Maintain knowledge of industry practices, category and shopper insights into actionable ideas
o Develop and curate engaging content in the brand voice for social media, website, and blog posts.
o Support the gathering of customer feedback via regular NPS scoring and improvement.
o Travel with sales to customers, attend industry functions and trade shows as needed.
o Coordinate regular marketing project meetings and maintain marketing workflow.
o Assist with marketing administrative such as budget tracking and project tracking.
o Coordinate membership and sponsorship of industry organizations and industry events.

Education / Experience: 
o Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communication or related field.
o +5 years marketing experience, preferably within the fragrance, beauty, personal care or related industry.
o Experience working with B2B sales teams and customers.
o Proficient at gathering market data, market insights and desk research.
o Proficient at distilling research into useable business and trend information.
o Hands-on management of trafficking marketing projects.
o Maintaining monthly and annual marketing budgets.

Computer/Software Proficiency:
o Expert PowerPoint skills and proficient at Excel, Word and MS Teams.
o Ability to use a wide variety of web-based software to manager URL’s, social media and analytics.
o Proficient at using cloud-based applications to support marketing and sales functions.
o Strong technical skills with ability to fluently navigate portals / dashboards and internal platforms.
o Proficient at the Adobe Creative Suite, Canva or other similar design software.
