Ecommerce Merchandise PlannnerFull time / direct hire
Hybrid in Anaheim – 2 days onsite
$65-$85k
Job Responsibilities:
- Analyze and evaluate crucial business KPIs: margin, sales, promotions, inventory, markdowns, and specific product opportunities
- Assist in the development of top-down/bottom-up plans: monthly, seasonal, annual
- Recognize and evaluate sales trends, highlight wins/misses, and identify sales opportunities to optimize sales by channel
- Report on sales to plan weekly to cross-functional teams to ensure all efforts are being made to hit the goals
- Manage and report on the Open-to-buy on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis
- Ensure that all product purchases align with appropriate breadth, depth, and sizing opportunities for each category
- Keep track of inventory positions to pinpoint opportunities for reorders, recalls, markdowns, and margin improvement
- 1-2 years of experience in planning/buying, allocation, or merchandising
- Proficient in retail math: sell-through, WOS, Gross Margin, Inventory turn, etc.
- Must have a strong knowledge of Excel: design and build reports from data spreadsheets
- Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability to shifting priorities; possesses the capability to organize and prioritize workload effectively to meet deadlines
- Eager to learn & grow their career in planning
