About the job

Our client is a well-known found and artist lead makeup brand that is seeking a new North American Lead Pro Artist to join their team!

What The Job Does

The NA Lead Pro Artist is responsible for driving brand awareness, consumer engagement and yearly business KPIs via NA Pro Artistry support. They will drive commercial success and artistry elevation through high-level eventing, activations, social advocacy, VIP makeup appointments and upskilling of the Pro, Field and counter teams through artistry training and development virtually and in store.

The position requires internal and external customer service capabilities and the ability to inspire clients and team.

Travel is required nationally and occasionally internationally (total of around 60%) to support activations and events. Must have a flexible schedule and be able to work weekends/holidays as required.

Location: Ideally candidates based in the New York City Area

Reporting Relationships: Reporting North America Pro Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the ultimate brand ambassador bringing the brands artistry, voice, and limitless approach, from the red carpet to our commercial business
  • Learn artistry techniques directly from the Global Pro Team and teach to the NA Pro Team
  • Design and facilitate trainings and assessments to grow the artistry of the NA Pro Team
  • Support VIP appointments, national activations, and virtual and in-store events
  • Act as NA artistry point person for high-level national activations
  • Content creation for social and commercial P-pages
  • Support/facilitate high-level in-store and virtual events
  • Develop team artistry skills to achieve yearly business KPIs
  • Partner with Pro Manager, Education and Sales partners to plan and execute development of artistry within regional door set
  • Identifying and communicating the artistry training needs, strategy, and training successes to the Pro Manager, Education and Sales partners
  • Provide constructive and professional artistry feedback to NA Pro Team
  • Supporting various developmental high-level trainings for the Field (Start of a Dream, Artistry Certifications, NYFW Training, etc)
  • Attending and participating in team meetings
  • Ensure the timely submission and accuracy of company credit card expenses, expense reports and company-owned asset forms
  • Responsibility in reporting and maintaining personal budget within fiscal year

Requirements

You will have:

  • Outstanding artistry skills that reflect the brand aesthetic
  • Strong experience in backstage, photoshoot, and VIP appointments
  • 10+ years in the beauty industry
  • Ability to inspire customers and team
  • Attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills with internal and external customers
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable form of transportation
  • Must have valid passport and be willing and able to travel internationally as required
