One of our CPG/retail focused agency clients is looking for a freelance Omni-Channel Shopper Marketing Manager to join their team to help support a key CPG client account who has an internal Marketing Manager going on paternity leave.

This freelance Omni-Channel Shopper Marketing Manager will be working as part of the client's team interacting with sales/brand and helping identity opportunities for upcoming shopper marketing activations, and then in turn briefing and guiding the agency team with delivery/execution.

The freelance Omni-Channel Shopper Marketing Manager must have shopper marketing experience, preferably across the convenience, drug, and value chain channels.


Ideal Omni-Channel Shopper Marketing Manager candidates will have:
- BA degree in advertising, marketing, business, or related field
- At least 4-6+ years of shopper marketing brand or agency side advertising experience, preferably within shopper marketing
- Dynamic personality able to effectively engage and influence a variety of audiences
- A wealth of industry knowledge including current trends, consumer packaged goods and retailer information, and business philosophies
- Motivational leadership, inspiring team to deliver top performance every day against assigned business
- Strategic thinking in the development of Omni/Shopper Marketing programs and management of day-to-day business
- Sound decision-making skills
- Passion about business and dissatisfaction with status quo- always thinking of ways to improve/grow assigned client/business
- Strong listening skills and attention to details
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Desire to dig in and do what is needed to get the job done right


Job Responsibilities:
- Operate across brand and retail program management with an emphasis on driving connectivity and collaboration between the brand efforts and national shopper efforts as the gatekeeper to the shopper team.

Retail Program Management:
- Lead internal sales and external agency cross-functional team to develop optimal and actionable strategies, concepts and tactics for retailer
- Build strong working relationships with Small Format client teams
- Establish overarching channel priorities and develop shopper marketing briefs with clearly defined objectives and KPIs aligned to brand and sales team goals
- Work with external client vendors/agencies to execute projects as assigned
- Develop and manage project timelines and budgets
- Manage retailer shopper budgets across programs; this includes but is not limited to owning retailer media partnerships and incremental and incremental dollar requests
- Work hand in hand with internal teams on planning and implementation of retail marketing extensions of brand and category programs (national retailer clients)
- Manage client approval process
- Measure post-promotion results using agency and client-provided data through client profitability metrics

Brand Program Management:
- Lead key meetings with brands and retailers
- Work with Omni/Shopper Marketing team to align efforts and drive efficiency
- Manage creative and legal approval process with agency and brand teams
- Work closely with the brand and agency team to manage timelines and ensure correct brand assets
- Planning and implementation of brand programs, including Retail Media Network commitments and management
- Budget management
