Position Overview:The Operations and Visual Merchandising Manager makes the magic happen behind the scenes! This position sets the stage for customer experience, maintaining the integrity and the brand image. This person is responsible for all aspects of store operations, including inventory-related processes, merchandise resets, visual assets, and pricing compliance.
Responsibilities:
Visual Merchandising
• Ensure compliance of Visual Merchandising standards in collaboration with corporate partner
• Responsible for executing store visual merchandising and display presentation and fixture layout
• Works with various corporate partners to ensure the display quantities and levels are updated on a quarterly basis
Operations
• Point person for all store deliveries. Executes shipping and receiving process, reporting any issues to General Manager, and taking the necessary steps to resolve the issues
• Perform physical inventory and process store supply orders, both new and replenishment
• Assist in monitoring the supply and recurring expenses against their store budget
• Maintain store standards that support the visual direction and enhance the customer shopping experience; recover and replenish the store as needed; as well as reacting to sell-thru as necessary
• Process staff uniform and supply orders
• Assist with facility needs, including, coordinating in-store maintenance, upkeep, and cleaning, ensuring all issues are resolved in a timely fashion
• Observe the sales floor and make sure the business is running effectively and smoothly in a clean, stocked, and presentable store
• Perform all opening and closing procedures to company standards
• Maintain strong working knowledge of all processes and policies
• Be the point person for technical issues in store
•Assist with special projects as needed, including in store and off-site events and PR opportunities
Experience, Skills, and Knowledge:
• 3+ years in retail management with a concentration on Visual Merchandising and Operation experience, a plus.
• Experience with Physical Inventory & Cycle Counts preferred
• Experience with Netsuite and Shopify preferred
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to think on your feet/out of the box and be creative
• Must be able to lift to 30lbs as well as climb stairs to and from the stockroom

This role will be located in their retail store and follow retail scheduling (weekends, holidays, rotating schedules, etc.) and will be client facing supporting with sales.
