Performance Marketing Director Overview:

As the Performance Marketing Director, you for managing all aspects of marketing, such as strategy development aligned with the company’s overall objectives. You would be responsible for developing strategic marketing plans to drive growth and achieve optimal growth targets. The ideal candidate is quantity driven with impeccable attention to detail.

 

Performance Marketing Director Responsibilities:

· Implement strategic marketing campaigns connecting all platforms, including website, email, print, and social media, own marketing calendar development and management

· Track and report spend and performance by channel as well as communicate media plans, results, and optimizations to key internal stakeholders

· Direct public relations and communications strategies and ensure consistent and cohesive branding and messaging across platforms

· Fill P&L responsibility, including owning revenue

· Create and implement marketing campaigns that drive revenue

· Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure the media strategy and execution are aligned to company objectives and continually test to deliver on company goals

· Develop a paid channel strategy that ladders to strategic objectives, including spend by channel and frequency

· Collaborate with Product on customer journey, connecting the dots between value proposition, campaigns, onboarding, and life-cycle experiences to improve conversion rates and drive growth

· Partner with internal and external partners to develop creative testing and communicate findings to improve channel performance

· Identify growth opportunities and define, develop, and own marketing strategy, vision, and plan to materialize on those opportunities

· Work cross-functionally across to grow the business through multiple marketing channels, including content, campaigns, social media, influencers, partnerships, SEO, referrals, lifecycle, and performance channels

· Provide SEO and strategic marketing recommendations based on analytics reviews and keyword rankings

· Create and manage Google Ad campaigns with the goal of driving conversions

· Identify and provide perspective on new trends and technologies in digital marketing

 

Performance Marketing Director Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree preferred

· 8+ years’ brand marketing experience

· Enthusiastic leader, experience managing a team and providing marketing direction

· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

· Experience creating and executing marketing media plans that drove measurable improvements in awareness and new customer growth

· Proficient in third party analytics and keyword research tools, like Google Analytics

· Experience with content creation and production tools (Photoshop, InDesign) is a plus
