Job description
ResponsibilitiesManages post-photography assets; image retouching, color correcting of all online related material (lookbooks, website assets, e-blasts, catalogues, garment flats, sales material/printed collateral)
- Prepare, name, organize, file and manage seasonal image folders (management, archiving, retrieval)
- Creates contact sheets for image election
- Removing imperfections, color balancing, retouching, corrections as directed
- Compiling seasonal digital contact sheets/thumbnails for review & selection process
- Photo asset management - cropping, resizing, reformatting, optimization for various platforms/formats
- Managing daily, weekly & seasonal deadlines
- Ability to produce high quality product images under tight timelines
- Responsible for 100% accuracy, consistency and proofing of all materials produced
- Team Player - ability to work independently as well as part of a team
REQUIREMENTS
Strong communication, technical & organizational skills
Ability to multi-task/work across various departments/platforms based on seasonal needs
Expert knowledge of Adobe CS software (Photoshop, Bridge, Indesign, Camera Raw), Lightroom
Fast, proficient and organized workflow
Critical attention to detail & consistency
Ability to understand technical implementations and limitations
Ability to work independently, follow instruction, problem solve/trouble shoot & proactively address discrepancies
Minimum of 3 years experience in digital print/web/ecommerce related environment
Up to date on photo retouching techniques/trends
Enthusiasm for the creative and technical processes. Desire to explore, understand and use new software
Knowledge of fashion industry photography is an asset
