Our client, a Boutique PR Firm, is looking for a Press Account Executive to join their team. The ideal candidate will have fashion, beauty and showroom experience. Must have press contacts. This will be direct hire and you must be local to LA.Responsibilities:
- Strategically developing and implementing public relations campaigns to enhance brand awareness, increase media coverage, and improve the overall public perception of our beauty clients
- Building and nurturing strong relationships with beauty editors, influencers, bloggers, and industry professionals to secure valuable media placements in relevant publications and platforms
- Creating captivating press releases, pitches, and other written materials that effectively convey the brand messages and storylines of our clients
- Identifying emerging opportunities within the beauty industry such as trends, industry events, and product launches to generate media coverage and capitalize on these opportunities.
- A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in luxury public relations, preferably with a focus on beauty or related industries.
- Demonstrated success in securing media placements and establishing strong relationships with media professionals.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling and persuasive messaging.
- Creative thinking abilities, enabling you to generate innovative ideas for PR campaigns.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Familiarity with beauty industry trends, key players, and relevant media outlets.
