Job descriptionThe Pricing Analyst will work closely with a broad cross-functional group (Buying, Marketing, Planning, and Customer Service) to successfully execute, monitor, and recap new pricing strategies.
What You'll Do
Monitor pricing position in the industry through frequent category deep dives. Identify and synthesize key insights and opportunities across divisions and categories. Collaborate with Buying teams on understanding strategic initiatives and how to best implement strategic pricing opportunities. Continual analysis of assortment and identify key programs with pricing elasticity to maximize sales and profitability. Identify price change opportunities to strengthen price/value within categories/sub-categories. Monitor and recap price changes to Buying team and Leadership. Own competitive promotional landscape daily and highlight shifts during key promotional timeframes (holidays/end of the season). Recap promotional activity and identify wins and opportunities for future promotional offers.
What You'll Need
Minimum of 4 years in either a Retail Buying or Planning Role Preferred
2 years of Pricing Strategy Experience
Knowledge of the Womens Apparel Industry
Strong investigative and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail
Excellent written and communication skills
Sense of urgency, highly detailed, and experience in meeting deadlines
Ability to work collaboratively throughout the organization
Strong retail math and data management skills MS office applications with extensive knowledge of excel Customer-centric attitude
