Job description
ObjectiveOur Cleint is looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist to take on the task of diagnosing issues on returned products, making changes to the design of the product to prevent the reoccurrence of the issue, and providing a systematic approach to progressively improving our products.
Preferred qualifications
- At least 1 year of related experience in a position such as a quality control technician
- Proficiency in testing methodologies, test case design, and test execution
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Mechanically inclined and an aptitude for hands-on work
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Responsibilities
A Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for monitoring, inspecting, and proposing measures to correct or improve the organization’s final products in order to meet established quality standards.
- Define quality assurance processes, standards, and methodologies to ensure high-quality deliverables
- Maintain detailed quality assurance documentation, including test results, defect reports, and progress reports
- Conduct regression testing and track defects to resolution
- Assess risks and impacts of various components and design choices
- Identify non-conformities and areas for improvement and work with the team to address them
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to establish clear quality benchmarks and criteria
- Provide regular quality assurance status updates to project managers and stakeholders
