Job description

Our client is looking to bring on a fulltime Project Manager, starting immediately. This role will be hybrid in Atlanta, GA.

Overview:
The Project Manager will assist the account management team with day-to-day client activities as required, including creative project management, client correspondence, creative production deadlines, etc., to ensure continued progress of client and studio workflow. This position requires someone who possesses excellent people skills, an eye for exceptional design and a working knowledge of creative (digital and print), production and printing processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Work assignments are typically both a mix of routine and non-routine work that often requires deviation from accepted practice and procedures to complete given wide variety of circumstances encountered in the job.
  • Work is reviewed primarily for end results and is performed under general guidelines or procedures which include administrative directives in the form of rules, policies, and established precedents pertinent to the assignment.
  • Ability to establish own priorities. Act as liaison between clients (internal and external) and creative production team.
  • Provide input in project planning and with the general management of creative projects as requested
  • Enter and track a high volume of data related work components and updates to studio project tracking system
  • Day-to-day management of projects, entering specifications using job management software, and ensuring proper priority is given to each job to meet client expectations.
  • Maintain project documentation and proper routing of projects through studio utilizing established review/approval processes
  • Demonstrate understanding in each area of Creative Services including: design (digital and print), print production and prepress.
  • See that all work completes established review/approval processes before being reviewed by clients or turned over to suppliers
  • Maintain project schedules/calendars to ensure that work proceeds (both internally and with clients) according to plan and deadlines, drawing the attention of account management to any potential problems before they occur
  • Assist with meeting agendas, correspondence and gathering of materials related to projects.
  • Assist with proofreading copy, artwork, client's printers' proofs as requested
  • Attend and set relevant client meetings, production and project management status calls bringing in appropriate resources from Creative Services as needed.
  • Set up and maintain accounts including creating project estimates and statement of work for ongoing client' ad-hoc requests, and creating POs and billing upon project completion.
  • Maintain client reference notebooks and/or digital archives for account, detailing past work and work-in-progress, and all pertinent information needed for accurate proofreading and meeting client standards
  • Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.

  • Bachelor's degree in relatable area of business with minimum 3 years of work experience in relevant area of work (marketing communication or marketing services) OR demonstrated ability to meet job duties through equivalent years of experience
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think logically Ability to interpret and understand clients' expectations and guide a creative production team.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at one time in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; experience and ability to work with cross-functional teams, internally and client-side.

  • Must have the ability to work independently and manage high volumes of information during high-stress situations.
  • Experienced in Microsoft Office especially in Word and Excel
  • Experienced in WorkFront Excellent Mac computer skills; ability to learn new programs, and ability to provide basic troubleshooting.
