Our client, a CPG brand, is looking for a Proofreader to join their team.Candidates should be skilled at editing and AP Style.Ongoing freelance
40hrs a week
$35/hr (w2)
Hybrid in Brentwood
Requirements:
• 2+ years of proofreading experience in an advertising, marketing, or similar environment with B2B and/or B2C communications
• Thorough knowledge of AP style
• Excellent proofreading skills, unearthly attention to detail, and ability to maintain focus during high-volume periods
• Confidence using a Mac, tracking changes in Microsoft Word, and using built-in markup tools in Adobe Acrobat Pro as well as online review portals like InSite Prepress and Abstract by Sketch
• Ability to grasp, track, and apply multiple client styles consistently across all channels of communication
• Ability to read French and/or Spanish is a plus but not necessary
