We are looking for a Quality Control Associate with a passion and will to learn and become an essential part of the company’s Operations and Supply Chain team. In this role, you will help execute the company’s OPS plan by ensuring that all quality control processes and procedures are in place and that all produced products meet the highest quality standard. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, passionate about operations and quality control, thoughtful, organized, efficient, and a flexible team player with attention to detail.

 

This role is remote but must be based in New Jersey.

 

The role...

Leading, coordinating, planning, implementing, and improving QC-related processes

Implementing continuous improvement processes, including handling nonconformities and supplier management

Ensuring CAPA processes are implemented and followed within the division.

Coordinating quality audits for new suppliers

Maintaining and managing a physical and a digital retains library

Measuring the production scrap at manufacturers

Coordinating and validating incoming inspections at manufacturers

Routine on-site quality inspections for manufacturers and 3PLs

Ensuring the quality of pre-shipping packaging

Managing the revisions of the components during production

Performing incoming inspection for the inventory that was received at 3PLs

Managing and approving customers' returns

Ensuring that proper storage conditions for products are maintained

Change control management

Ensuring that product development processes meet the highest quality standard

 

You will thrive in this role if you have...

 

Experience in a quality control position and experience working in a GMP environment is an advantage

Experience in cosmetic product production and development is an advantage.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Team player with a "no task is too small" attitude
