Our client is seeking a Sales Assistant to support the Sales team by helping to manage orders, data entry, and all follow through.
Sales Assistant Roles and Responsibilities:
• Manage customer service operations: Keying and processing orders, order changes, extensions, EDI’s and account communication for all updates
• EDI processing and bulk cancellations
• Work with Sales, Production and Merchandising
• Partnering with Production on open orders and import tracking ETA’s on upcoming customer orders to ship
• Analyze open order & shipping recaps to ensure product is moving through the warehouse in a timely and efficiently.
• Creating on order sheets for all major accounts
• Helping to maintain the daily showroom responsibilities.
• E-Commerce responsibilities – Photo shoots –overseeing .Com. and Macy’s.com direct to consumer.
Sales Assistant Key Qualifications:
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel is a must. Power Point and Photo shop experience.
• 3-5 years in related Customer Service/Operations/Logistics/Supply-Chain role
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
