Client Overview:

Our well-known Beauty client is looking for an in-house Senior Brand Manager to be a part of their bustling creative team.

Senior Brand Manager Overview:

As a Senior Brand Manager, you will drive brand growth by owning brand vision and direction, developing consumer engagement strategies, acting as the global brand proprietor, and leading key brand growth initiatives.

Senior Brand Manager Responsibilities:

  • Set and achieve annual KPIs to improve brand health metrics through development of robust consumer engagement strategy and plans
  • Create traditional/digital marketing strategy and campaigns, from concept to execution, including agency and vendor management
  • Partner with the Digital and Integrated Marketing team to craft content, social media and PR/influencer plans
  • Create an integrated consumer brand experience by leading global marketing strategies
  • Provide guidance and oversight on brand asset usage, messaging and overall proper portrayal to international business leads and trusted partners
  • Own global brand hierarchy & positioning, delivering a cohesive global brand experience
  •  Own all brand hierarchy elements, evaluating for relevance and updating if necessary
  • Develop the global communication strategy for the portfolio (imagery, digital, point of sale) consistent with the brand’s identity
  • Monitor key market players marketing messaging and activity, understanding and sharing impact on RT business and positioning
    • Manage licenses, partnerships & collaborations to elevate brand positioning in the marketplace
  • Seek brand partners, assessing program potential and leading contract negotiations to ensure mutually beneficial program parameters
  • Oversee and manage overall program development, while handing off execution to appropriate teams (PD for product-based; DIM for marketing-based)
  • Develop and track program KPIs and evaluate program performance
  • Manage budget successfully and accurately
  • Responsible for building, managing, and executing the annual brand A&P budget
  • Work with finance to reconcile budget trends vs. actuals
  • Advise and guide DIM team on budget allowances and needs

Senior Brand Manager Qualifications:

  • 8-10 years of proven success in product marketing and/or brand management
  •  Demonstrated success leading a brand and cross functional teams with a high degree of independence
  •  Keen understanding of marketing and financial fundamentals and strong ability to execute against these fundamentals.
  •  Experience in brand strategy, consumer & customer insights, budget management and P&L exposure
  • Ability to lead and develop cross-functional teams
  • Beauty and/or personal care experience preferred
