Our client is a leading beauty brand looking for a Senior Manager, Consumer Events to join their team! In this role you will lead the strategy and execution behind all consumer-facing events. This person will partner closely with internal cross-functional teams, including Sales, PR, Social Media, Performance Marketing, Creative and Digital teams, as well as external stakeholders, for seamless implementation of eventsResponsibilities
- Lead the strategy, planning and execution behind brand IRL events, including consumer-facing pop-ups, influencer events, retailer events and in-store takeovers, in collaboration with relevant cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Outline the objectives, goals and requirements for each event and provide results Communicate with outside vendors (new and existing) and agencies to obtain initial quotes/proposals, build out event renderings + designs, and see events through until the end
- Kick off and lead task forces with internal teams to manage timelines, R&R, logistical details, build-outs, etc.
- Closely manage spend to ensure we stay within budgets.
- Develop detailed and thoughtful creative briefs
- Liaise closely with social teams, PR/Integrated Communications team, Digital team, Sephora merchants, etc. to ensure we have robust 360 support plans on events.
- Liaise directly with Sephora merchants
- Stay up to date with the latest IRL event trends across the industry and benchmarking competitors for future activations
Qualification and Experience
- 5-7+ years of industry-related marketing work experience
- Experience with Events (2+ years)
- Gen Z brand experience preferred
- Bachelor or higher degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related subject preferred
- Willingness to travel and work in a global team of professionals (30% or more)
