Lead / Sr Product Designer3 month contract gig (could go longer for right fit)
Pay: $55-60/hr
Figma Design system experience (ideally experience with variables, etc)

The Lead Designer will report to the Director of Product Design and work directly with him, their lead designer, product manager, and front end engineer on their next generation platform. The platform itself is a web app, used to create and mange web apps in the healthcare space. Client has a long backlog of components that they need designed. In this role, you will create components using their established/evolving UI kit. Each component will need to be created:
In Light mode / dark mode
For 3 breakpoints (desktop, tablet, mobile)
With any number of configurations per component (Boolean, etc)
An example would be an app bar. It needs to look great at all three breakpoints, in light/dark mode, and have configurable settings to show/hide: links / hamburger menu, user profile image / name, CTA, notifications, language switcher, etc. That way the users on their platform can add the component and configure it however they need for their unique application.
It’s a mix of Product Design and production work. You will also be asked to work with their designer to assist with design needs for the current generation platform, as it has a roadmap with a few features needing design support as well.
