Job description

Our client is an innovative influencer marketing agency with offices in New York and London. They deliver authentic, best in class creative campaigns for a diverse range of brands, in partnership with an unrivaled community of highly engaged influencers. 

We’re looking for a Senior Vice President to run US operation. The role requires someone with US agency expertise and proven success around new client wins, client retention and operational expertise. 
 
This role will report into the Global CEO who’ll split their time across US and UK. This role will need to be a self-starter, proven success in business operations and a contact list to grow and scale the operation. 
 
Key Responsibilities
 
1.   Overseeing account handling and growth 
  • Leading and inspiring the account teams to ensure consistent, timely and excellent delivery of projects and ongoing programs
    • Providing creative and strategic resource for senior client stakeholders 
    • Considering growth of the account at all times including looking at ways of working to improve efficiencies and profitability, or developing our offering to the client
    • Maintaining profitability across accounts 
  • Managing and overseeing process implementation ensuring the team are fully trained and fully compliant and on-boarding new members of the team.

2.   New Business and Agency Profiling

  • Harvesting network and identifying new opportunities to secure and retain new clients across core focus verticals
    • With support of the sales and marketing team, delivery against the communications plan – development and execution including awards, speaker opportunities and profiling opportunities
  • Representing the agency and presenting on industry trends at networking, industry and broadcast opportunities 
    • Work with the Senior New Business Manager around targeting new business leads, pitch materials and business growth 
  • Have an existing network of contacts to engage and onboard 
  • Confidence running and representing the agency at pitch level for household brands

3.   People management

  • Responsible for management of the US office: 
    • On-going motivation and contribution to positive morale of team members 
    • Managing the performance, training and development of team members 
    • Hire and retain exceptional talent

4.   Internal communication

  • Providing timely and consistent communication to CEO and team about project status, profitability and people 
  • Responsibility for reporting back to business on ways to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness on an ongoing business 
  • Inspire, motivate and manage the US operation 
  • 5. Finances
  • Work with the Financial Controller to set a budget at the start of the year, present said finances and quarterly revisions
  • Ensure the agreed cost and revenue targets are adhered to
  • Price competitively and profitably and provide clients good value for money
  • Ensure the supply chain represents good value for money

6.   Legal 

  • Keep agency and its work compliant with local legislation

7.   Board contribution 

  • Work closely with the CEO to manage the investors and board collateral, thinking about the future growth and vision for the agency
