Overview:
As the Manager of Site Merchandising, you will play a critical role in driving the success of the client’s e-commerce platform. You will be responsible for optimizing the presentation and placement of products on our website to maximize sales and enhance the overall customer experience. This role requires a deep understanding of online retail and a strong ability to analyze data and consumer behavior to make informed merchandising decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute the site merchandising strategy aligning with overall business objectives and goals.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product management, and operations, to ensure a cohesive and customer-centric online shopping experience.
3. Conduct regular analysis of sales data, customer behavior, and market trends to identify opportunities for improving site merchandising effectiveness.
4. Optimize product placement, categorization, and search functionality to drive increased conversion rates and average order values.
5. Manage the product catalog, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information, imagery, and pricing.
6. Work closely with suppliers and vendors to negotiate and secure the best possible deals and promotions for our customers.
7. Monitor and analyze competitor merchandising strategies to identify areas for improvement and maintain a competitive edge.
8. Collaborate with the UX/UI team to enhance the visual presentation and navigation of the website, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience.
9. Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging trends, and new technologies to continuously improve site merchandising strategies.
10. Lead and develop a team of site merchandising specialists, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in online retail merchandising, preferably in a management role.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and consumer insights to drive merchandising decisions.
- Proficiency in using web analytics tools and e-commerce platforms.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering an exceptional customer experience.
- Knowledge of SEO and digital marketing principles is a plus.
