Job description

Our client, a Top Gaming Company, is looking for a Social Analytics Coordinator to join their team. This will be a 4 month contract and fully remote but working PST hours (must be located in the U.S). 

Job Description:
  • To support data & analytics-driven performance tracking, reporting, and audience development for multiple franchise social media channels.
  • This role will report directly to the Audience Development Manager and will support the manager and team in providing data, insights, and regular reports to key stakeholders.
  • The coordinator will also work in tandem with the digital marketing team, the content operations team, and other key internal & external partners.
  • This role, as part of the larger digital marketing and content team, will contribute directly to the overall social media channel health and growth in engagement for our social media channels.
  • The coordinator can expect to manage the workflow and production of recurring and ad hoc reporting & data requests, in support of partnered teams.
  • The coordinator can also expect to present key analysis and provide actionable feedback & learnings, in recurring and one-off meetings, to help improve overall social & video content performance.
  • The coordinator should be comfortable communicating with various levels of organizational stakeholders, in support of improving content performance.
Responsibilities:
  • Analyze data from social media platforms and third-party tools to determine key performance trends
  • Assist Audience Development Manager with large-scale reports (e.g. quarterly reporting)
  • Create and deliver weekly sentiment & performance reporting to social teams
  • Support focused reporting on major/key publishing and game release beats
  • Support social teams in content planning by providing data-backed insights
  • Maintain and understand logs of historical metrics, for comparative analysis use
  • Develop expertise on all analytics tooling in-use by team
  • Present findings in meetings and via written deliverables
  • Maintain knowledge of current platform and content-archetype best practices
  • Research competitor strategies and best practices for social platforms
  • Lead recurring and ad hoc workflow and reporting alignment meetings as required
  • Maintain performance data tracking documentation
  • Maintain data operations process documentation
  • Maintain knowledge of current franchise communities
  • Maintain knowledge of supported games and respective content cycles (patches, expansions, major beats) 
  • Create and distribute daily trend and high-level industry reporting
Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years’ experience in social media management, research, and/or data analysis
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of Sprinklr, native analytics platforms, and other data-focused platforms
  • Ability to combine contextual information with data to create informed recommendations
  • Strong analytical and written communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets
  • Able to quickly learn new analytics tools and platforms
  • Able to manage relationships with multiple key stakeholders and meet weekly reporting deadlines
