Our Client is a Personal Care Product Manufacturing company in LA. They are seeking a strong Sourcing Manager. This role is on site full time.Responsibilities
- Source new components, accessories, cosmetics for multiple projects with short lead times.
- Identify potential suppliers and conduct thorough evaluations to assess their capabilities, reliability, and quality standards.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure favorable pricing, payment terms, and service level agreements.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate supplier performance, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services while maintaining quality standards.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, new suppliers, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, fostering partnerships based on trust, reliability, and mutual benefits.
- Manage catalog and custom sourcing projects for all beauty-related products.
- Research new product ideas, acquire samples and establish product specs, select, and negotiate with suppliers, and obtain approval from the Product Development and Sales Teams.
- Complete the customer project and price quote in a timely manner.
- Review prototypes and production samples for compliance of specifications.
- Interface with Product Development, Sales, Purchasing, Finance, Logistics and Warehouse on initial product part purchase order requirements.
- Collaborate closely with internal departments to understand their sourcing needs, specifications, and requirements.

Requirements
- Current International Turnkey & Gift Seft Sourcing experience in the personal care/beauty industry!!!!!
- Proven experience as a Sourcing Manager or in a similar procurement role.
- Proven ability to work successfully in a deadline driven environment with a sense of urgency.
- Demonstrated ability to remain flexible while working on multiple projects simultaneously.
- In-depth knowledge of sourcing strategies, supplier management, and procurement processes.
- Strong understanding of contract laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and standards.
