Our client, a Juniors/Missy Private label brand is looking for a passionate Sr Account Executive to join their team!


*PLEASE NOTE: You must have club and/or private label experience- this person will play a key role in new growth
Location-100% onsite in Commerce
Salary-$95K- $100K base plus commission! 

Responsibilities • Drive Profitable Sales: Be an expert of the retailers and brands you oversee, including macro consumer, industry, and competitive trends that impact their business. Ensure the broader team understands each retail partner's strategies, initiatives, brand and financial guardrails, and white space opportunities. Collaborate closely with PD&D to guide product design and sales presentations; utilize a blend of art and science and share actionable feedback to ensure the retailer’s (and ultimately their customers’) needs are met. Ensure final proposed assortments are trend-right, appropriate for the brand and season, cohesive, and meet internal/external cost goals to maximize profitable sales and support our annual financial plan. • Maximize New Opportunities: Leverage data, understanding of macro trends impacting consumer buying patterns, industry knowledge, retailer relationships, and consumer and competitive insights to help identify new product category, brand, and distribution opportunities that align with our growth strategy. Collaborate upfront with cross-functional partners from other key areas, such as Design and Sourcing, and drive strong execution of plans put in place to maximize those opportunities.

• Drive Strategy + Execution: Help develop and execute a merchandising strategy that enables the organization to maximize profitable sales, unlock new business opportunities, and deliver financial plans. Effectively communicate the strategy to various internal stakeholders and utilize it to guide cross-functional work and foster alignment and effective collaboration. Own executing the tactics of the strategy on a day-to-day basis in order to drive strong results. Manage PD+D calendar timing to ensure deadlines are met. Lead effective cost negotiations that deliver financial plans. Proactively identify and mitigate risks, and take partners to problem-solve issues that surface. • Help the Business Scale Effectively: Champion company strategies and initiatives. Demonstrate a strong understanding of the big-picture priorities while managing the details of the business in order to execute effectively. Provide suggestions for process and procedure improvements that drive efficient results and enable company growth. Elevate bottlenecks and areas that need additional support, and partner with the leadership team to put plans in place to address challenges. • Team: Help to foster a collaborative, respectful, passionate, and customer-centric company culture focused on driving organizational growth and delivering results. Ensure interactions with internal and external partners consistently demonstrate these values. Coach and mentor less-experienced team members by sharing knowledge freely and regularly communicating actionable feedback. Model a positive, engaged, and solution-focused approach to the business.

Experiences + Competencies • 5-7 years of experience in apparel sales, merchandising or related field • Previous experience working with mass and mid-tier apparel retailers • Deep experience in successfully developing, implementing, and managing the execution of merchandising/sales strategies that enable profitable growth • Proven ability to connect work to high-level strategic goals, understand interdependencies across the organization, and see the big picture while managing to a level of detail that ensures strong execution • Highly organized with a strong ability to prioritize and a proven track-record of successfully managing multiple retailers, brands, and/or development cycles at the same time; prior experience managing PD+D calendars and timelines involving multiple partners • Prior experience building and maintaining strong working relationships with a variety of partners across multiple areas of expertise, at multiple levels, within multiple organizations • Strategic and collaborative high-performer with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills • Highly accountable and resourceful, with the ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively; comfortable with ambiguity and able to drive results with minimal guidance • Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to effectively synthesize; experience influencing across all levels and functions, internally and externally • Strong sense of urgency, ability to thrive in an evolving environment, adaptable and determined • Growth oriented, with a continuous learning mindset and ability to inspire others to embrace change
