Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Director of Finance to join our dynamic beaiuty client's executive team. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record of financial leadership and a strong understanding of business operations. Reporting directly to the COO, the SVP of Finance will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, driving strategic initiatives, and providing actionable insights to support the company's growth and profitability objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Strategy:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive financial strategies that align with the company's long-term objectives and growth plans.
  • Provide strategic guidance to senior leadership on financial matters, including capital allocation, investment decisions, and risk management.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to develop accurate and achievable financial targets.
  • Prepare detailed financial forecasts and models to support decision-making and identify potential risks and opportunities.

Financial Reporting:

  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
  • Present financial results and analysis to the executive team, board of directors, and other stakeholders.

Risk Management:

  • Identify and assess financial risks, including market volatility, credit risk, and operational risk, and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Implement effective internal controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.

Capital Management:

  • Optimize the company's capital structure and manage capital allocation decisions, including investments, dividends, and debt financing.
  • Evaluate strategic opportunities for mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships to drive growth and enhance shareholder value.

Strategic Planning:

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute strategic initiatives that drive revenue growth, improve profitability, and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Conduct financial analysis and due diligence to support strategic decision-making and resource allocation.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, lenders, auditors, and regulatory agencies.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to address inquiries, provide financial updates, and ensure transparency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in financial management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Strong financial acumen and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make strategic recommendations.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability, with a track record of building high-performing teams and driving results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic, growth-oriented company and adapt quickly to changing priorities and market conditions.
