Position Overview: The Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role in supporting financial planning, analysis, and decision-making processes. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex financial information to various stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting, along with a deep understanding of industry trends and key performance indicators.

Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A):

    • Lead the development and maintenance of financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
    • Analyze and interpret financial data, providing insights into key business drivers and trends.
    • Collaborate with department heads to understand and influence budgeting decisions.
  2. Budgeting and Forecasting:

    • Coordinate the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to develop accurate and achievable financial targets.
    • Prepare regular forecasts, identifying potential risks and opportunities, and making recommendations to senior management.
  3. Management Reporting:

    • Generate insightful financial reports for senior management, presenting key findings and recommendations.
    • Develop and maintain financial dashboards to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
  4. Financial Performance Analysis:

    • Evaluate the financial performance of various business units, providing recommendations for improvement.
    • Conduct variance analysis against budget and forecast, identifying root causes and proposing corrective actions.
  5. Strategic Planning:

    • Assist in strategic planning initiatives by providing financial analysis and insights.
    • Evaluate potential investments, mergers, and acquisitions, providing financial due diligence.
  6. Ad Hoc Analysis:

    • Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and modeling as needed to support executive decision-making.
    • Respond to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders regarding financial performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master's degree or professional certification such as CFA, CPA, or equivalent is a plus).
  • years of experience in financial analysis or related roles.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
