Job description

Our client, a B2B Media and Communications brand is looking for a  Marketing Manager to support the communications and promotions of our company events. This is a direct hire opportunity that is fully remote.

We are looking for a marketer who understands how events contribute to sales and marketing goals, advance company initiatives, and deliver memorable brand experiences. This role is responsible for delivering on the marketing strategy and execution of plans and campaigns designed to increase event attendance, attendee engagement, and build brand awareness. Our events cross several exciting markets – vehicle fleets, automotive aftermarket, public safety, law enforcement, and the professional salon industry.

Responsibilities: Manages and executes multi-channel event marketing and communications strategy for multiple events Works with event operations, editors, and design team to build creative campaigns Creates and manages comprehensive event marketing calendar Writing/editing, managing, and developing a range of marketing communications materials for events, including website content, emails, social, and print Works with cross-functional teams to develop sales tools and prospectuses Oversees website, forms, brochures, updates, and processes Develops and maintains event marketing project management processes and resources that produce start-to-finish high-quality event experiences Collaborates with internal and external teams to ensure high-quality and successful events Follow internal company policies and procedures Any/all other/additional duties/responsibilities as assigned/required

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related discipline 6+ years marketing/communication experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience Detail-oriented, proactive problem solver with the ability to manage multiple projects Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, manage expectations, and solve problems in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams Excellent project management skills Digital marketing experience: email marketing, CMS, social, digital advertising, Canva Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Teams) Willingness and ability to travel to events
