Job description

Our client, an Entertainment Giant, is looking for Sr. Media Manager to drive all aspects of developing integrated media plans, from development to media channels and paid partners.  Candidates with Streaming experience ideal.

Hybrid, santa monica 4 days on site, wfh Friday
Pay $60-65hr (budget approval TBD)
6 months, likely to extend
Starts in May

  • Drive all aspects of developing integrated media plans from media strategy development, tactical media plan development across all media channels and paid media partners (excluding. Paid social, devices and programmatic) to overseeing the execution (eg. creative project management, creating media authorizations, shepherding media contracts for media and media measurement and research vendors through legal approvals), reporting & optimizations recommendations of live media campaigns and deep budget management and invoice reconciliation support.
  • Responsible for working with a cross functional team of marketers and channel to develop and deploy breakthrough and effective paid media campaigns
  • Conduct weekly campaign optimizations and performance analysis against campaign goals; manage media plan budgets while setting organizational priorities, and allocating resources
  • Provide insightful performance reporting and recommendations to improve strategies, tactics, visibility to drive results
  • Drive forward unique creative visions, working closely with Marketing to execute on creative strategies to attract viewers and engage our subscribers
  • Responsible for presenting all aspects of the media campaign to EP’s and senior executives
  • Interface directly with media partners to develop new advertising programs, secure first to market opportunities and secure premium media cost effectively
  • Manage budget and timelines for media campaigns.Work with our finance counterparts to track and manage budget
  • Seek and evaluate strategic media opportunities and serve as a thought leader on new and innovative ways to reach and connect with our audiences through paid media
  • Develop test and learn scenarios to continue to innovate and accelerate media performance
Basic Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience in integrated planning for entertainment brands, ideally a streaming service
  • Tableau experience required
  • Ideally both client side and agency experience
  • Passionate about coming up with innovative and unique creative media ideas
  • Ability to juggle multiple simultaneous competing projects across 250+ paid media partners
  • Ability to inspire, motivate, and influence others internally and externally
  • Senior media seller relationships
  • Multi-cultural media planning experience
