Job Description:Our client is currently seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join their team as Stock Associates. As a Stock Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operations of otheretail store.
Responsibilities:
1. Receive and unload merchandise: You will be responsible for receiving and inspecting incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and quality of products. Unloading and organizing merchandise in designated areas will also be part of your daily tasks.
2. Stock and replenish shelves: As a Stock Associate, you will be responsible for restocking shelves and displays with merchandise, ensuring proper organization and presentation. This includes accurately labeling and pricing items.
3. Maintain inventory control: You will assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by conducting regular stock checks and reporting any discrepancies to the management team. This includes conducting periodic audits to ensure accurate stock levels.
4. Assist with customer service: As needed, you will provide friendly and efficient customer service, assisting customers with locating products, answering inquiries, and resolving any issues or concerns.
5. Maintain cleanliness and organization: You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized stockroom and sales floor area. This includes regular cleaning, sweeping, and organizing merchandise.
6. Collaborate with team members: You will work closely with other Stock Associates and team members to ensure efficient store operations. This may include assisting with special projects or tasks as assigned by the management team.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for long periods.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
