Job description

Our client is a multi brand beauty company that is looking for a new Supply Chain Management Director to join their team!

Please note this role is hybrid in Atlanta

The Supply Chain Management Director leads supply chain planning and execution. This position works closely with our suppliers and contract manufacturers to ensure our customers always receive quality products on time. The Director is responsible for supply chain activities across the company and all brands. We are looking for an individual with meticulous attention to detail, excellent quantitative and communication skills, and the ability to step in and own one of the most critical functions of our success.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • a 3-5 person team.
  • supply chain architecture, including modeling of most efficient supply chain.
  • overall reduction in supply chain and product cost as a percentage of Net Sales.
  • between Product Development and supply chain partners during product launches and redesigns/reformulations.
  • weekly Sales & Operations meeting.
  • and measure appropriate KPIs, including WOS, OTD, vendor scorecards, and quarterly business reviews for key vendors.
  • demand flow and pattern, CPFR process, inventory management, lead time, transportation, and MOQ optimization.
  • cost savings and SKU rationalization opportunities.
  • and manage all product data (SKUs, Dimensions & Weights, UPCs, and HTS/Tariff Codes) to enable quick item/vendor setups for launching a new product or channel while maintaining a central data source for supporting e-commerce platform development.

Customer Fulfillment:

  • customer order fulfillment; accept weekly Pos.
  • 3PL day-to-day executional requests (e.g., kitting instructions, outbound logistics, special service requests).
  • all new product implementation (NPI) activities to ensure that the 3PL is ready for all aspects of a product launch.

Supplier/Vendor Management:

  • contracts with suppliers.
  • and build positive and collaborative vendor relationships.
  • of performance and compliance, taking corrective actions and ensuring timely and correct billing and payments.
  • vendors receive correct and up-to-date SOPs for filling, assembly, kitting, dot com pick and pack, and customer order fulfillment.
  • vendor database.

Procurement:

  • and maintain POs and report on open PO status weekly.
  • accurate Bill of Materials and issue update quarterly.

Logistics and Distribution:

  • on logistics efficiencies and manage logistics cost reduction initiatives.
  • scheduling and delivery of raw materials, components, and finished goods.
  • shipment schedules and transportation method to lower costs.
  • a Reverse Logistics strategy that meets both cost and customer satisfaction goals.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • have 5-10 years hands on experience as a Supply Chain leader in a startup environment as well as in a large company culture.
  • have strong background in demand planning & forecasting, sourcing and procurement, supplier management, production scheduling, inbound, outbound and reverse logistics.
  • excellence in managing and directing third-party fulfillment and logistics functions focusing on improved service to customers and utilizing the partnership to improve service level and cost reductions.
