Responsible for ensuring the availability and functionality of client networks, this role demands meticulous attention to detail, multitasking ability, critical thinking, and strong communication skills. Focused on maintaining computer systems, network servers, and virtualization, the position involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, conducting system audits, and implementing backup and disaster recovery procedures. The role extends to leading desktop and helpdesk support, overseeing capacity planning, and ensuring database performance. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, possesses 5+ years of relevant experience, and holds certifications in Azure, Linux, Microsoft, or related areas. Proficiency in virtualization, networking protocols, scripting, and IT best practices is essential. The candidate should demonstrate a proven track record of developing and implementing IT strategies and plans while maintaining expertise in security, storage, data protection, and disaster recovery protocols.
