24 Seven is partnering up with a sports environmental graphics and experiential design company based in Coldwater, Ohio to help them find a Technical Designer to join their team! This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity with great benefits. You are required to be onsite 5 days a week in Coldwater.Job Description:
The Technical Designers primary goal is to get client approved creative designs ready for production/fabrication/printing. An ideal candidate is a well-rounded, motivated person that thrives in a fast-paced environment, who exhibits an extreme commitment towards attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
· Work with the Technical Design Director to create a vision for each project
· Clearly articulate design concepts to production/fabrication team
· Maintain a high attention to detail to ensure that all field verification
measurements are correct and design/production files are at the highest quality
· Ability to brainstorm fabrication ideas of design concepts in order to properly
build the design vision
· Maintain the vision for a given project(s) with the team assigned
· Have the knowledge to create and proof production-ready art files
· Work alongside the creative designers, engineers/fabricators, and production
partners
· Manage to deliver multiple design files for multiple projects in a given week
· Maintain and strengthen primary production design skills while learning and
adding disciplines to your repertoire (i.e. learning fabrication, print styles, material differences, etc.)
· Consistently produce fabrication-ready work
· Desired skill but not required: Produce CAD/Mechanical drawings of creative
design concepts
Qualifications:
· Minimum Education Level: Associates Degree in a relative field
· Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign expertise
· Extreme attention to detail
· Deep understanding of typography
· Motivated self-starter and able to ask questions when necessary
· Prior experience in a time sensitive production environment and/or
education in relative field
· Photo retouching and color correcting skills
· Ability to work quickly and with multiple points of feedback and changes
· Diligence in file naming structures and file organization
