Job description
Our client, an Entertainment Giant, is looking for a UX Writer/ Content Designer to support on internal tools. The role is more technical in nature, writing for the UI Ad Platform for Advertisers. You will write error messages, one word messages, buttons, etc for Ad Platform (Internal tools)Ideal Candidates should have experience with Ad Monetization.
Candidates must be local to Southern California (no exceptions)
12 month assignment, quarterly check-ins, possible to extend afterwards
Pay – $90/hr(w2)
Remote, but most be local to Southern California
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Design team to solve UI challenges.
- Work with Product teams to improve content performance.
- Own and maintain the copy deck and review process.
- Contribute to the design system with logic and rules for various use cases.
- Represent and defend our tone and wording in design reviews and product meetings.
- Participate in QA for copy and file bugs as needed.
- Understand customer goals, business requirements, and technical constraints.
- 5+ years of experience writing for advertising and/or monetization platforms.
- Passion for user-focused product experiences.
- Curiosity about every aspect of the user journey, from error states to success criteria.
- Ability to balance storytelling with systematic thinking.
- Experience with wireframes and functional specs.
- Analytical mindset to propose optimal solutions.
- Ability to develop well-informed points of view and adjust based on feedback.
- Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
- Long-term strategic thinking with the ability to act quickly.
- Skilled in managing and prioritizing multiple projects.
- Excellent presentation skills at all organizational levels.
- Attention to detail and commitment to style guides and shared patterns.
- Interest in the evolving ecosystem of hardware, software, and services.
