Job description

Our client is a global skincare brand looking to add a VP, Global Marketing to their growing team. This role is hybrid based in NYC - in office 2/3 days a week. Candidates must have extensive experience in the skincare category.

Role Overview:
As the VP of Global Marketing, you will be responsible for leading and managing the global marketing strategy. Reporting directly to the CMO, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams including product development, sales, and digital marketing to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

 Develop and execute strategic marketing plans:
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to define marketing objectives aligned with business goals.
  • Develop comprehensive marketing strategies for each target market segment.
  • Drive integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels (digital advertising,
  • social media, influencer partnerships) to maximize brand visibility.
  • Lead team performance: Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the global marketing team.
  • Set clear performance expectations for team members.
  • Foster an environment that encourages creativity, collaboration, and continuous professional development.

Brand Management:
  • Ensure consistent messaging across all touch points globally.
  • Oversee branding initiatives including visual identity, packaging design, and tone of voice guidelines.

Market analysis and consumer insights:
  • Conduct market research analyze competitor activity, trends, and customer behavior.
  • Utilize consumer insights to inform marketing strategies and product development initiatives.

Budget management:
  • Develop and manage the global marketing budget.
  • Monitor expenditures to ensure cost efficiency and ROI.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in progressively senior marketing roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership position.
  • Strong track record of developing and executing successful global marketing strategies within the skincare or beauty industry is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience managing teams and delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
