Our client is a global skincare brand looking to add a VP, Global Marketing to their growing team. This role is hybrid based in NYC - in office 2/3 days a week. Candidates must have extensive experience in the skincare category.Role Overview:
As the VP of Global Marketing, you will be responsible for leading and managing the global marketing strategy. Reporting directly to the CMO, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams including product development, sales, and digital marketing to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute strategic marketing plans:
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to define marketing objectives aligned with business goals.
- Develop comprehensive marketing strategies for each target market segment.
- Drive integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels (digital advertising,
- social media, influencer partnerships) to maximize brand visibility.
- Lead team performance: Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the global marketing team.
- Set clear performance expectations for team members.
- Foster an environment that encourages creativity, collaboration, and continuous professional development.
Brand Management:
- Ensure consistent messaging across all touch points globally.
- Oversee branding initiatives including visual identity, packaging design, and tone of voice guidelines.
Market analysis and consumer insights:
- Conduct market research analyze competitor activity, trends, and customer behavior.
- Utilize consumer insights to inform marketing strategies and product development initiatives.
Budget management:
- Develop and manage the global marketing budget.
- Monitor expenditures to ensure cost efficiency and ROI.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in progressively senior marketing roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership position.
- Strong track record of developing and executing successful global marketing strategies within the skincare or beauty industry is highly desirable.
- Proven experience managing teams and delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
