JOB DESCRIPTION
As the Ecommerce Director, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive ecommerce strategies to maximize online sales, enhance brand visibility, and optimize customer engagement. This role will oversee all aspects of the ecommerce operation, including website management, digital marketing, merchandising, and customer experience initiatives. We are looking for someone with a creative and analytical mindset, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the beauty industry and ecommerce trends. The role reports to the VP of Digital.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Ecommerce Strategy Development:
• Develop and implement ecommerce strategic plans to drive growth and achieve revenue targets for each brand within the portfolio.
Website Performance Optimization:
• Oversee the development, maintenance, and optimization of our websites to ensure a seamless and user-friendly shopping experience.
• Analyze website performance metrics, user behavior, and conversion rates to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to optimize user experience and drive sales.
• Define and track key performance metrics, including website traffic, conversion rates, and customer engagement.
User Experience:
• Collaborate with the Marketing and Brand teams to maintain an attractive and user[1]friendly website design, with a focus on navigation, user interface, and mobile responsiveness.
• Continuously improve the online shopping experience through site enhancements, personalized recommendations, and customer feedback analysis.
• Evaluate and implement technologies, tools, and platforms to enhance user experience, functionality, and performance.
Ecommerce Optimization:
• Lead efforts to enhance the ecommerce functionality, including shopping cart, payment processing, and product search capabilities.
• Implement and optimize SEO and SEM strategies to increase website visibility and attract organic and paid traffic.
Vendor & Agency Management:
• Manage relationships with external vendors, agencies, and technology partners to support ecommerce operations and drive innovation.
Team Leadership:
• Build, develop, and lead a team of website professionals, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• 7+ years in website operations, ecommerce, or digital marketing, preferably in the health and beauty or consumers goods industry.
• Proven track record of leading successful website initiatives, driving growth, and improving user experience.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and mentor a diverse team.
• Deep understanding of web technologies, SEO/SEM, UX/UI best practices, and ecommerce platforms.
• Proficiency in web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics), CMS platforms, and CRM systems.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities. Apply for this job
