The position will report to: Associate Director, Retention + CRM Marketing

We are looking for someone to help lead the growth and development of our Email and SMS marketing programs. You will manage a Coordinator, Email & SMS and ensure their continued growth to build a best-in-class team.

- Email & SMS
o Set the strategic roadmap for our email and SMS channels, balancing long-term initiatives with near term needs and aligning with the team’s priorities with the support of the Associate Director
o Responsible for broadcast email and SMS marketing calendar planning
o Responsible for campaign operations and execution including building, scheduling, and deploying emails
and SMS in collaboration with email service provider
o Own the relationship with digital creative and copy teams for email briefing, creating and editing email content, writing/approving copy, and organizing digital assets and uploading into email deployment tool
o In collaboration with Global Marketing and creative/copy teams, develop clear stories that showcase product attributes, encourage cross category purchases, and drive repeat purchases for new product  launches, annual promotions, seasonal events, and more
o Follow industry trends and competitor practices with regards to broadcast marketing emails, SMS, personalized marketing, and more to stay ahead of best practices and make recommendations to improve the business

- Reporting & Measurement
o Track, measure, and evaluate results of email and SMS marketing campaigns
o Identify and measure key KPIs that ladder up to business goals, with ongoing efforts to continuously analyze data, identify trends, and implement optimizations
o Summarize findings and share actionable insights and recommendations to DTC and cross-functional teams
o Develop an A/B and multivariate testing roadmap and measure effectiveness of campaigns, to optimize all areas of the email and SMS programs and identify opportunities to better understand our customer segments
o Become a subject matter expert in customer behavior and help with evolving our segmentation and customer communication strategy to deliver a personalized and relevant customer experience

Essential Skills and Experience:
- 4+ years of experience owning email & SMS marketing channels for a DTC e-commerce business
- Experience with at least one email/CRM marketing platform: Klayvio, Listrak, etc.
- Demonstrated success in developing innovative CRM campaigns, expertise in enterprise email platforms, technology, engagement campaigns, A/B testing, and marketing metrics
- Well-versed in key email metrics to support and recommend optimizations
- Ability to communicate results to various stakeholders and clearly present data
- Exceptional data analytics skills; ability to draw conclusions from large data sets and form actionable insights;  experience with analytics tools such as Tableau, Google Analytics, and Microsoft Excel
- Beauty industry experience preferred, but not required
- Strong project management, organizational, and proactive communication skills
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skill
