Job description

Our client, a leader in the healthcare and Life Sciences realm, is looking to bring on a contract Project Manager – Business Integration, starting in June 2024 through Feb 2025, with potential to extend. Role is hybrid onsite and remote, with potential for light travel.

Responsible for ensuring successful completion of all aspects of the project’s coordination and implementation. Coordinate a multi-disciplinary team that includes internal and external customers.

  • Organize project, tasking priorities to achieve objectives
  • Define and manage project scope, schedule, resources, risk, and metrics
  • Partner with Senior leadership to allocate resources to drive projects to on-time completion
  • Identifies and coordinates the efforts of various members of cross-functional teams to meet project deliverables
  • Delegates tasks to the appropriate team members throughout the organization
  • Schedules and leads team meetings and ad hoc meetings, as required, in coordinating project activities and managing project issues
  • Leads project decision making process and brings closure to open issues
  • Manages project communications including meeting minutes, monthly updates, communications meetings, and project tollgates
  • Maintains current program review documentation and provides reports on progress to site and division management
  • Earned bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical disciplines, or Business Management or Leadership (preferred)
  • Three years of project management experience (desired)
  • PMP Certification (desired)
  • Demonstrated written and oral communication capability (required)
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office Suite, and Visio (required)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project or other equivalent software tool for program tracking (required)
  • Other tasks as required to support the business objectives (required)

  • Must possess solid business acumen, strong leadership skills, and analytical proficiency
  • Must possess strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to anticipate and recognize issues, analyze risks, consider options, and make decisions to drive results.
  • Must be able to function in a changing, high-impact position with deadline and resource limitations.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of management, internal and external customers and suppliers, and outside agencies.
